Dear Erasmus students,

I congratulate you for the achievements and for the motivation of being part of the Erasmus program.

I am writing to give some general information about the Erasmus process at the department. I want to let you know that I am the academic coordinator of the Erasmus program at the Control and Automation Engineering Department. I am in charge of student nomination, and the process to validate the selected lectures matching our program's courses and the host universıty's courses.

Selection process:

• You should be researching what University suits you the best based on some academic and personal interests. The selection criteria are different for every single person. 
• The University offers you many options. You should read the agreements and program characteristics ( https://erasmus.yildiz.edu.tr/sayfa/ELEKTR%c4%b0K-ELEKTRON%c4%b0K-FAK%c3%9cLTES%c4%b0/Kontrol-ve-Otomasyon-M%c3%bch--Control--Automation-Eng-/567 ), search online the desired host University, and in many cases, the experience of some previous Erasmus students is very useful. 
• Keep in mind the language requirements for each of the options to meet the deadlines when you have to hold a particular language certificate to study in a different Language (Education in a language different from English).
• You are requested to be aware of restrictions and rules to travel to some countries because of the COVID-19. 

Note: We regret to let you know that the Darmstadt University and Obuda University will not be included this year among the host Universities.

We are going to hold two meetings for the selection process

* To select your University you must be online to be part of the process. The attendance of the nominated student at the selection meeting is mandatory.
